1. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION
i. Must be a Post Graduate Degree holder in any subject from a recognized university or equivalent qualification. Preference will be give to candidate having higher educational
qualification.
ii. Must be at least M.Ed degree holder.
iii. Must have experience of teaching in a Public School in higher classes for at least 15 years as Senior Master or five years as Principal of reputed public school.
iv. Must have experience in administrative matters for running a Public School.
v. Must be below the age of 50 years on 31.12.2010.
2. SCALE OF PAY AND OTHER ALLOWANCES:
i. Scale of Pay PB-3 Rs, 32000-60000 Grade Pay Rs.9000
ii. Allowances: DA & other allowances admissible under the school rules.
iii. Free furnished accommodation and conveyance facility for official work.
3. FEES AND MODE OF PAYMENT
Candidates shall have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 500/- in favor of Director (Higher Education) HRDDepartment, Govt. of Sikkim. Gangtok. The fee will be payable by way of crossed Indian Postal Order at Gangtok. Head Post Officer. No other form of payment will be accepted.

iii) Application should be addressed to the Director. H. Education., HRDD. Govt of Sikkim. Tashiling Secretariat Complex. P.O. Gangtok Sikkim. PIN 737101, so as to reach him on or before 26. 3.2011. Incomplete application received after the date will be summarily rejected.
iv) No TA/DA will be paid for appearing for the interview.
v) Date of interview will be intimated to the candidates by post / fax.
5. ENCLOSURES:
The candidate must enclose the following documents along with their application.

ii) Two self Addressed stamped oblong envelop.
iii) One copy of recent passport size photo duly attested by a Gazette officer.

6. MODE OF SELECTION
Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in the Interview.
7. the appointee will be on probation for a period of one year and appointment will be for a period of three years initially.
