Sikkim has been recognized as the “Little Miracle State ” by the India Today Group owing to its miraculous achievements in the field of development inspite its small size.
21 Nov, Gangtok:Sikkim has been recognized as the “Little Miracle State ” by the India Today Group owing to its miraculous achievements in the field of development inspite its small size. Once again it has marked itself in the National mainstream and has added a feather to its cap.
Sikkim has come to justify this new name through its consistent miraculous performance and achievements in many sectors under the efficient visionary leadership of the Chief Minister, Mr Pawan Chamling. In a brief press conference held today at the residence of the Chief Minister at Ghurpisey Namchi, Dr. Pawan Chamling was handed over two State Awards which were received by the Principal Resident Commissioner, New Delhi Sikkim House, Mr Arvind Kumar.
As the Chief Minister could not attend the award ceremony function at Delhi due to a family function coming up at Namchi, Mr Kumar had received the awards on behalf of Chief Minister the award function organized by India Today Group for- ‘Best Small State, States of the States Conclave 2010’ Award in New Delhi on 19th November."
